Responding to difficult people as a UX or Product Designer
Whenever we communicate with others in our lives, in our jobs or on the internet, sometimes we see eye to eye and sometimes not so much. We might get agreement, love, appreciation and acknowledgment for our suggestions or efforts and other times we get what feels like the exact opposite. What I've learned is that how we think about and respond in these situations or to difficult people that come into our lives can make a world of difference for our own sanity and can even surprisingly help others along the way. In this lesson, I'll share with you a technique I've created called the NAEBER Method based on the principles of non-violent communication and mindfulness that can help you maneuver through any different situation or conversation with less friction and more peace of mind.
